Tadashi Asoma - Artist Biography
Tadashi Asoma is a Japanese artist, born in 1923. Asoma relocated to the United States after his first exhibition here in 1961, and American contemporary art remains the strongest influence on his work. In most of his works, you will see a passion for nature and the serenity which it has brought him.
Many of Asoma's paintings are landscapes, rendered with brilliant colors in bright bursts. The changing of the seasons is one of his favorite motifs, and his landscapes are colorful and intense. His use of color and texture combines to create some of the most striking examples of natural beauty ever captured on canvas.

This leaves you with a piece that has a lustrous oil sheen and canvas texture that looks much more like it came directly from the artist. This in turn can make a much bigger impression on those who see it.
Asoma has participated in one-man and group exhibitions throughout the world, and his work is included in many public and corporate collections.
