Henri Silberman Prints - Artist Biography
Henri Silberman was born in Paris and is now an American photographer. During his teenage years, he became interested in photography and subsequently has had a very successful career from his skills and talent, particularly in the area of New York City landscapes. One of the most popular Henri Silberman Prints is the renowned Brooklyn Bridge photograph featuring a view of the bridge and lower Manhattan. The South Street Seaport is shown in between the two piers on the bridge. The World Trade Center with 110 story twin towers can be seen across the bridge.

He purchased his first camera, which was a Mamiya Sekor 1000 TL 35 mm, at 16 years old. Henri has not stopped taking pictures since and he now works with medium and large framework. All the contradictions in cities have always been a stimulus for his visual expression of the urban landscape. He works daily shooting, re-shooting and editing and learning along the way; ideally producing photos which even surprise him.
Silberman's photos have been published and exhibited all over the world. His work has been displayed in corporate collections and used in productions for movies and television.
Henri Silberman prints in black and white are archival. These are hand printed on silver gelatin paper, fiber-based, selenium toned, air-dried and rewashed. They are limited, signed and numbered. The prints are generally created on 16”x20” paper, but they can be ordered as other sizes. The color photos are generally printed on archival using chromogenic pigment inks.
