Born as Cheri Bloom in Baltimore on September 24 in 1969, Cheri Blum is a graduate of the St. Mark’s High School that can be found in Wilmington. After graduating from high school, she followed her lifelong dream of becoming an artist and attended Marywood University where she did the Fine Arts Program. She then graduated from the University of Delaware in 1991.
Being a lover of history, Cheri Blum prints are known to speak to feelings of the age, with a mixture of beauty, her works are known to speak to perfection and of course beauty as was mentioned before. Cheri Blum, unlike many other artist does not draw her inspiration from any one thing, instead she expresses that she finds inspiration in things around her; from the intrigue that she draws from simple objects, or the feeling of inspiration that she can pull from deep within her, and the inspiration that she at times get from the weirdest and most unexpected places are all expressed in her art.
