Spider-Man
Tobey Maguire is the perfect Peter Parker. The first installment of the Spider-Man movies lays a great background for the rest. The character development of Parker, Harry Osborn and Mary Jane Watson is excellent.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
In my opinion The Lord of the Rings movies are all amazing. Peter Jackson made true movie magic with all of them.

Signs
M. Night Shyamalan's last highly rated movie. Signs is all about mood and not about special effects. The tension and dialog during the movie builds to the end when the alien actually makes an appearence. Well written and directed.

Catch Me If You Can
Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks together on screen make a great pair in the chase movie. Frank Abagnale Jr. (DiCaprio) is a young but master at check fraud. While Carl Hanratty (Hanks) chases him the whole way through. Director Steven Spielberg hits another out of the park.

The Bourne Identity
The first movie of the book series by Robert Ludlum is a high suspense and adrenaline rush. Damon proves he is an action star through and through.

8 Mile
Eminem proves his talents extend passed rapping, he is a great actor too. A partially autobiographical film based on Eminem's escape from the trailer park he grew up in.

Gangs of New York
Martin Scorsese directs this epic movie with an epic cast - Leonardo DiCaprio and Daniel Day-Lewis. Day-Lewis known for his amazing acting does not disappoint in this film about 1863 New York. He plays William Cutting, AKA Bill the Butcher.
