Smokin' Aces
The critics really labeled this one a stinker. But it made the list of cool movies, which it definitely is. A crime movie worth the watch.

Grindhouse
Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino teaming up to write and direct, how can it not be great? A great throwback to the old grindhouse genre. Plenty of action and gore, let's just say not boring.

28 Weeks Later
I think fell slightly short of 28 Days Later, but still great and well worth the watch. Zombies are always in vogue, right?

1408
Originally a Stephen King book, the transformation to the big screen is well done. Many have tried to create a movie out of a Stephen King book or story, some have achieved greatness like The Shawshank Redemption and some have crashed and burned, you know who you are. 1408 is not Shawshank Redemption caliber but is still a very well done movie adaptation.

Sunshine
A sci-fi winner in my book. This one will go down on most people's list as one of the greats in the sci-fi genre.

Gone, Baby, Gone
I so enjoyed this film. I am really liking Casey Affleck and am looking forward to his very bright future. With brother Ben behind the camera, these two capture magic. More movies with the two of them? - Please.

American Gangster
It's no secret I am a big Denzel fan, Crowe and Washington team up for a great gangster classic.

I Am Legend
Although the zombies (is that what they were?) were a bit CGI-ish, cool story and a fun trip all the way through.
