Iron Man One of the best superhero movies of all time. A great, fun ride led by Robert Downey Jr.

Batman - The Dark Knight
THE greatest superhero movie of all time, without question. The Dark Knight is a genre changing movie that redefines what a superhero movie can be. The mood is so thick and plot so twisted that this movie stayed with me days after I saw it.

Changeling
A bizarre but true story about a mother who's young boy goes missing, then the police find him, only it is a different boy. Superbly acted by Angelina Jolie and masterfully directed by Clint Eastwood.

Slumdog Millionaire
The surprise gem from India. This movie took the Oscar's by storm and with good reason, Slumdog transcends the slums with a beautiful script, amazing colors and wonderful acting.

The Wrestler
Randy (Mickey Rourke) is a hero that you want to see overcome the hole he has dug for himself, but realize about half way through he is only going to fall deeper, he is beyond rescue. A very powerful movie that can bring you to tears watching the wrestler slip, slip, slip.

Revolutionary Road
Encapsulates the life that is suburban living. Of course not everyone in suburbia feels the way the characters do in the movie, but my guess is there are some that do feel this way, trapped. This was an extreme case, but I liked it because it shows the dying of ones spirit if we do not follow our dreams. Reminded me a lot of American Beauty.
