Bathroom Decorating Tips
Here are some great tips to get your bathroom looking stylish!
Light Bright Colors - To keep your bathroom bright in a small space try using light colors like yellow or light blue. These bright cheery colors will keep your small space lively.
Stone - Adding stone anywhere in the bathroom is a good idea. It is usually a small area so it won't be too expensive. Use stone on the back splash, counter, floor, and shower walls for a great effect.
Cabinets - Add a few wood cabinets to store towels and such. Teak and cherry wood are always great for the bathroom.
Clawfoot Tub - Including a clawfoot tub gives it the old world feeling and really opens up the space because of the physical space under the tub. There's just something about soaking in a stand alone tub.
New Mirror - Get rid of the flat borderless mirror that was there when you moved in and replace it with a mirror with a fashionable frame border.
Pedestal Sink - The pedestal sink is great for smaller bathrooms because it opens up the space again just like the clawfoot tub.
Warm Floor - If you can afford it, getting a heated floor for you bathroom is a sweet luxury. The floor can be set to turn on and be cozy warm when you wake up!
Sconces - Removing the overhead lighting and installing wall sconces will improve the feeling of the room dramatically. Sconces will provide a soft light.
Above Counter Sink - Add some style right out of a fancy hotel with an above counter sink.
